Log Off & Live: An Invitation

By

We used to move through life without needing to document or explain it. We used to lose touch - and that was okay. We used to sit in silence without reaching for something to fill it.

Now, our attention is constantly split between what we're doing and what we're consuming. We scroll out of habit, keep digital tabs on people we haven't spoken to in years, and mistake connection for visibility. We trade likes for real check-ins. Comments for phone calls. And scrolling for actually making plans & hanging out to catch up with the people we claim mean the most to us.

I mean, people are down right offended nowadays if you don't post them on social media for their birthday, even if you called, texted, or showed up to tell them in person.

I'm not here to argue that social media is inherently bad.
But I am asking questions.
About what it costs.
About what it crowds out.
About whether it's giving us what we think it is - or just keeping us tethered out of fear, boredom, or inertia.

Log Off & Live is a quiet little series - reflections, challenges, small nudges - all aimed at reclaiming some of what we've lost in the noise.

This won't be about perfection or shame or deleting everything today {or tomorrow, lol}.

It's about asking:

What would my life feel like with less digital distraction?
What would I notice, remember, or return to if I looked up more often?
What would I begin if I escaped the scroll?

I'm starting here - and I'm inviting you to come along ❤
